Learning paths

Many organizations in the water sector are undergoing a transition, such as shifting from task-oriented to process-oriented work, implementing environmental regulations, or embracing digitalization. This represents a significant change for employees, both in terms of knowledge and behavior. Training can play a crucial role in easing or accelerating this transition.

But how do you start, and how do you determine what new knowledge and skills your employees need?

How do we work?

World water Academy supports organizations in setting up a learning hub or learning track. We identify five practical steps to investigate the new knowledge and skills employees need.

Step 1

Based on all available information, we create an initial overview of the key target groups and the required knowledge.

Step 2

Next, we interview subject matter experts and representatives from the target groups to refine the overview. We also consider the size of the different target groups.

Step 3

We analyze the results and cluster target groups and topics where possible, creating a workable overview, the learning path.

Step 4

Together with the target group, we identify priorities and choose the most suitable method for transferring knowledge.

Step 5

This leads to a concrete plan for the learning program tailored to the different target groups.
