Program

The E-learning Hygienic Practices in Drinking Water Production is a self-paced course without a physical or digital instructor-led component. It includes assignments to help you better understand the theory, illustrated with both text and visuals. You can complete the course at your own pace, testing your knowledge by answering questions. The course is divided into two modules.

  • systems for drinking water storage
  • design requirements, cleaning, and maintenance of reservoirs

  • cleaning and disinfection of reservoirs

Target group

The E-learning Hygienic Practices in Drinking Water Production is designed for professionals working as technicians, supervisors, team leaders, or inspectors within a water company or contractor.

Entry Level

A technical vocational (MBO) diploma is preferred.

Special Notes

The Hygienic Practices in Process Installations Certificate is mandatory for employees performing tasks related to the extraction, production, or storage of drinking water. This certificate is recognized by Dutch drinking water companies, and its learning objectives align with the current practical guidelines for drinking water systems.
