Future-Oriented Wastewater Treatment

Learning track for operators and process technologists working with new treatment techniques.

Various developments are driving the need for new treatment techniques. The ambitions for cleaner effluent are continually increasing due to stricter effluent standards under new legislation, such as the Water Framework Directive (WFD) and the new European Urban Wastewater Directive. Additionally, the water authorities have set themselves several goals: to be completely energy-neutral by 2030, fully circular by 2050, and aim for climate neutrality by 2035. Moreover, the increasing importance of data in wastewater treatment is changing the role of the operator. The Future-Oriented Wastewater Treatment learning track is specifically designed for operators and process technologists who want to deepen their knowledge of treatment techniques in these areas.

This learning track consists of 4 modules, which can be taken separately and in any order. Each module concludes with a practical assignment. For each completed module, you receive a partial diploma. After successfully completing all 4 modules, you receive the Future-Oriented Treatment diploma.
