Tailor-made Training for Moroccan Professionals: French-language E-learning on Water Reuse and Digitalisation

Water Resource Management 30 January 2025

At World Water Academy, we take pride in our versatility in developing training programmes that perfectly match the needs of diverse audiences. With a unique French-language e-learning course on water reuse and digitalisation, we demonstrate that language need not be a barrier to sharing knowledge. We build bridges between countries and cultures by collaborating with local and international experts, contributing to better sustainable water management.

Preparing for a flying start

The e-learning course is an essential part of a broader training programme designed for Moroccan professionals in the water sector. Participants prepare online for an intensive hands-on training session in the Netherlands. With a solid theoretical foundation gained through the e-learning, they can dive straight into practical learning and advanced topics upon arrival. This approach saves time and makes the training more efficient and focused.

Collaboration and expertise

The content expertise for the e-learning course comes from the programme trainers: Paul Versteeg (Rijnland Water Board) and Ralf Linneman (Hydrologic). We translate their input into an interactive and accessible e-learning course tailored to the participants’ needs. This collaboration ensures that the course is both substantively robust and practically applicable.

E-learning content

The French-language e-learning course addresses three key topics. The first is water scarcity, where participants learn about the issue of water scarcity and the variations in how this problem manifests across different parts of the world. The second topic is water reuse, focusing on techniques, requirements for reuse, and the associated challenges. Finally, attention is given to digitalisation, with a focus on how organisations can successfully undertake a digital transition. Through interactive modules and extensive visual aids, complex content is made accessible and practically applicable for participants.

This course is part of the MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP), funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and managed by Nuffic.

More than just language

Language should never be a barrier to sharing knowledge. We build bridges between countries and cultures by collaborating with local and international experts. Are you curious about what we can do for your organisation? Contact us to explore the possibilities.
